About the event
As a single mother of three, I know how difficult it can be to get kids ready for back to school with clothes, shoes, supplies while still maintaining the necessities that are needed for everyday life. My two oldest children no longer being here due to a violent act of gun violence has pushed me to want to give back and help children in need. This is just one of many outlets that I've embarked upon in honor of my children's legacy, but I can not do this without your support. Can you please assist me in providing back-to-school supplies to help a child reach their potential in the upcoming school year? A lot of children go without so many things that make focusing in school difficult. I don't want the lack of basic supplies to be one of those reasons a child is unable to tap into their potential. Anything can help. We will be collecting supplies starting June 1 through August 3, 2021
